Specializing in debit, credit, and prepaid card fraud mitigation, REDi's suite of products—including REDiVerify, REDiNotify, and REDiCardControl—leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to balance real-time risk detection with a seamless user experience. Serving over 100 financial institutions, REDi has demonstrated significant success, such as helping clients reduce fraud losses by up to 80%. 


Role: Lead UI/UX Designer


I led the design for the integration of REDi’s Verify fraud mitigation tool within the Q2 digital banking platform, aiming to provide users with a seamless and secure fraud verification experience. The design prioritized trust, clarity, and responsiveness—delivering real-time alerts and easy-to-follow verification flows directly within the Q2 environment. By aligning REDi’s advanced risk detection capabilities with Q2’s composable design system, the integration offered a frictionless experience that helped users quickly resolve potential fraud events without leaving their digital banking session.

    •    Seamless Fraud Verification Flow – Designed an integrated user journey that allowed banking customers to quickly verify or dispute suspicious transactions within the Q2 platform, minimizing stress and reducing drop-off.


    •    Trust-Centered UI – Developed a visual language that emphasized security and user confidence, incorporating clear messaging, branded reassurance elements, and intuitive call-to-actions to guide users through high-stakes interactions.


    •    Real-Time Alerts & Responses – Crafted UX patterns that supported REDi’s real-time fraud alerts, ensuring users could take immediate action through accessible, mobile-friendly interfaces.


    •    Consistent Cross-Platform Experience – Aligned the integration with Q2’s composable design framework to maintain a consistent look and feel across all channels while adapting to REDi’s brand voice and functional requirements.


    •    User Testing & Iteration – Collaborated with stakeholders to conduct usability testing on early prototypes, using insights to streamline interaction paths and refine error handling for a frictionless, high-trust experience.
