About the Client


​Rally Credit Union, formerly known as NavyArmy Community Credit Union, is a member-owned financial institution headquartered in Corpus Christi, Texas. Established in 1955 to serve naval employees, Rally has since expanded its membership to include residents across eight South Texas counties. With over 200,000 members and assets exceeding $3.5 billion, it stands as the largest credit union in South Texas. In 2023, Rally rebranded to reflect its commitment to inclusivity and community engagement, adopting the tagline "Banking for All." The credit union offers a comprehensive suite of financial products, including high-interest savings and checking accounts, loans, and digital banking services, all designed to empower its members' financial well-being. ​


Role: Lead UI/UX Designer


I led the design of a Q2 dashboard integration that enabled Rally Credit Union members to easily track their Liberty Rewards progress. The experience was tailored to highlight key qualification criteria—such as debit transactions, direct deposits, and eStatements—through a visually engaging, user-friendly interface. With real-time progress indicators, accessible microcopy, and personalized touchpoints, the tile empowered members to stay informed and motivated to maximize their rewards. The integration maintained Rally CU’s bold, community-forward brand while delivering a seamless experience within the Q2 composable banking platform.

    •    Progress-First Design – Created dynamic page tiles that clearly displayed each member’s monthly progress toward Liberty Rewards qualification, using visual checkmarks, progress bars, and status indicators to promote at-a-glance understanding.


    •    Motivational UX – Designed with behavioral engagement in mind, incorporating positive reinforcement, personalized status updates, and timely reminders to encourage continued user participation and goal completion.


    •    Simplified Criteria Breakdown – Broke down complex rewards qualifications—like transaction counts, direct deposits, and digital banking usage—into digestible, user-friendly components that were easy to scan and act on.


    •    Mobile-Responsive & Accessible – Ensured the tile delivered a seamless experience across devices, prioritizing mobile usability and meeting WCAG accessibility standards for a diverse user base.


    •    Visual & Brand Alignment – Balanced Q2’s composable UI system with Rally CU’s newly refreshed brand identity, integrating bold visuals, typography, and color to maintain a cohesive and modern experience.
