About the Client


​Fort Worth Community Credit Union (FTWCCU), established in 1940 and headquartered in Bedford, Texas, is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative dedicated to providing secure and competitive financial services. Serving over 79,000 members across Tarrant, Parker, Johnson, and Denton counties, FTWCCU offers a comprehensive suite of products, including checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and investment services. With a strong commitment to community engagement and financial education, the credit union emphasizes personalized service and financial well-being for its members. FTWCCU operates multiple branch locations and provides robust digital banking solutions to meet the diverse needs of its membership. ​


Role: Lead UI/UX & Web Designer


I led the complete redesign of Fort Worth Community Credit Union’s public website with a focus on creating a more intuitive, accessible, and member-centric digital experience. The new site featured a simplified information architecture, enhanced mobile responsiveness, and visually engaging layouts that aligned with the credit union’s brand and values. I prioritized key user journeys—such as joining the credit union, applying for loans, and accessing online banking—while introducing a scalable design system that supports future content growth and marketing campaigns. The result was a modern, responsive platform that empowered members and improved engagement across all digital touchpoints.

    •    User-Driven Architecture Overhaul – Reorganized the site’s structure based on user behavior insights to surface the most relevant content, such as loan applications, branch access, and online banking tools.


    •    Modernized Visual Design – Refreshed the site’s visual language with updated typography, color palette, and iconography that reflected FTWCCU’s brand while creating a clean, engaging interface.


    •    Responsive & Mobile-Optimized Experience – Designed a fully responsive layout to ensure seamless navigation and functionality across devices, significantly improving the mobile user experience.


    •   Improved Conversion Pathways – Streamlined key user flows for joining the credit union, applying for loans, and scheduling appointments—resulting in simplified interactions and clearer calls-to-action.


    •    Scalable, Accessible Design System – Developed a modular, WCAG-compliant design system to ensure consistency across pages, support future content growth, and improve accessibility for all members.
