Role: Lead UI/UX Designer
I led the design of a custom Q2 Composable Dashboard tile to help CommonWealth Central Credit Union members easily track and meet the monthly criteria for their Rewards Checking benefits. The tile was designed to provide real-time status updates on progress toward earning rewards, using clear visual indicators, personalized messaging, and actionable tips. By focusing on simplicity, transparency, and motivation, the tile encouraged ongoing engagement and helped members stay informed and in control of their financial goals, all within the familiar Q2 digital banking experience.
• Goal-Oriented User Experience – Designed the tile to help members easily track their monthly progress toward qualifying for Rewards Checking benefits, with a clear focus on motivation, transparency, and user empowerment.
• Visual Progress Indicators – Developed an intuitive visual system, using progress bars, checkmarks, and color cues, to represent key criteria such as debit card usage, direct deposits, and eStatement enrollment.
• Microcopy & Clarity – Crafted concise, supportive microcopy to explain reward criteria and next steps, reducing confusion and encouraging continued engagement without overwhelming the user.
• Embedded Personalization – Incorporated personalized data to make the experience more relevant and actionable, allowing each member to see their unique progress at a glance directly within their digital banking dashboard.
• Design Consistency & Accessibility – Ensured the tile adhered to Q2’s Composable Dashboard design standards while optimizing for mobile responsiveness and WCAG accessibility compliance, delivering a seamless experience across devices
