Allied Payment Network: Website Redesign 


About the Client


​Allied Payment Network is a fintech company headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, specializing in real-time, open-network payment solutions for banks and credit unions across the United States. Founded in 2010, Allied offers a suite of digital payment products—including bill pay, person-to-person (P2P), account-to-account (A2A), and small business payments—designed to enhance the digital banking experience for financial institutions and their customers. Their flagship platform, FlexPay, integrates features like PicturePay®, which allows users to pay bills by photographing them, and eBills, providing full PDF bill images from thousands of billers. Allied's mission is to help banks and credit unions compete in an increasingly global market by providing them with world-class payments tools that position them as the heart of the communities they serve.


Role: Lead UI/UX & Web Designer


I led the redesign of Allied Payment Network’s website with a focus on modernizing its visual identity and elevating the user experience for financial institution partners and prospects. The new design introduced a cleaner, more accessible layout that showcased Allied’s suite of digital payment solutions, including bill pay, P2P, and A2A services. By streamlining navigation, optimizing for mobile responsiveness, and highlighting key product benefits, the site was transformed into a conversion-focused, marketing-ready platform that reflected Allied’s position as a leading fintech innovator. The project emphasized clarity, scalability, and an engaging digital-first brand experience.


    •    Brand-Forward Visual Identity – Translated Allied’s refreshed brand into a bold, modern digital presence by introducing a new design system with updated typography, vibrant color palettes, and custom iconography that reflected their innovation in fintech.


    •    Strategic UX Restructure – Overhauled the information architecture to better support distinct user journeys for financial institutions, business partners, and prospective clients—making it easier to find relevant solutions and content.


    •    Conversion-Focused Design – Streamlined product pages and CTAs to highlight Allied’s differentiators and drive engagement, resulting in clearer calls-to-action and a more intuitive path to contact and demo requests.


    •   Mobile Optimization & Accessibility – Designed a responsive, WCAG-compliant experience that maintained visual consistency and usability across all devices, increasing reach and user satisfaction.


    •    Scalable, Modular Framework – Developed a flexible, component-based design system to support ongoing content growth, marketing campaigns, and future platform integrations, ensuring long-term scalability and consistency.
